PART 2 - SAYING 55 - The Secret Words of Thomas Saying (39) were created from John 8(3-12)

Jesus said, the Pharisees and the Scribes: And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.8(3-4) + have received the keys of knowledge: Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned:8(5t) + they have hidden them: but what sayest thou? And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.8(6b-8) + and they did not let those who wished: And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.8(9) + but you have become wise: When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers?8(10t) + as serpents: hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord.8(10b-11t) + and innocent: And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.8(11b) + as doves: Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.8(12)

PART 3 - SAYING 56 - The Secret Words of Thomas Saying (38) were created from John 8(10-25)

Jesus said: When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?8(10) + many times: She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.8(11) + have you desired to hear these words: Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. The Pharisees therefore said unto him, Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true.8(12-13) + which I say to you: Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go.8(14) + and you have: Ye judge after the flesh;8(15t) + no: I judge no man.8(15b) + other: And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me. It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.8(16-17) + from whom: I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me. Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.8(18-19) + to hear them: These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple:8(20t) + there will be a day: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.8(20b) + when you will seek me: Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come. Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come.8(21-22) + and you will: And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins:8(23-24t) + not: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.8(24b) + find me: Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning.8(25)

PART 4 - SAYING 57 - The Secret Words of Thomas Saying (43) were created from John 8(25-40)

His disciples said to him, who art thou: Then said they unto him, Who art thou?8(25t) + that thou: And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning.8(25b) + should say these things: I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.8(26) + to us: They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.8(27) + Jesus said to them: Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself;8(28t) + from what: but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.8(28b) + I say to you: And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him. As he spake these words, many believed on him.8(29-30) + you do not know: Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.8(31-32) + who: They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man:8(33t) + I am: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?8(33b) + but you have become as the Jews: Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.8(34-36) + for they love the tree: I know that ye are Abraham's seed;8(37t) + they hate its fruit: but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you. I speak that which I have seen with my Father:8(37b-38t) + and they love the fruit: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.8(38b) + they hate the tree: They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.8(39-40)

The Secret Words of Thomas (66) were created from John 7(52-53end)+8(1-7)

Jesus said, show him: They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee ariseth no prophet. And every man went unto his own house.7(52-53) + the stone: Jesus went unto the mount of Olives. And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.8(1-2) + which the builders have rejected: And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him.8(3-6t) + it is the corner stone: But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.8(6b-7)

Note: the stone: Jesus went unto the mount of Olives. And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.8(1-2)

Isaiah 28(9-22): Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken. Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem. Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves: Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place. And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it. From the time that it goeth forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report. For the bed is shorter than that a man can stretch himself on it: and the covering narrower than that he can wrap himself in it. For the LORD shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act. Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.

Psalm 118(17-29): I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD. The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death. Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD: This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter. I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation. The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner. This is the LORD’S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes. This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it [Saturday/Sabbath 15th Day (light/day)]. Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity. Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD. God is the LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the alter. Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Note: the stone: Jesus went unto the mount of Olives. And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.8(1-2)

Genesis 48(21-22): And Israel said unto Joseph, Behold, I die: but God shall be with you, and bring you [Joseph] again [David/Joseph of Arimathaea] unto the land of your fathers. Moreover I have given to thee one portion above thy brethren, which I took out of the hand of the Amorite with my sword and with my bow.

Genesis 49(1-2) + (22-26): And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days. Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; and hearken unto Israel your father.49(1-2) + Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall: The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him: But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:) Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb: The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.49(22-26)

Isaiah 46(9-11): Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: Calling a ravenous bird from the east [Lamech], the man [Pilate/Lamech] that executeth my counsel from a far country [Rome]: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.

Thomas 73(6-9) Part 8 of Chapter 7: the harvest: And some of them would have taken him; but no man laid hands on him.7(44) + is indeed great: Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said unto them, Why have ye not brought him? The officers answered, Never man spake like this man. Then answered them the Pharisees, Are ye also deceived?7(45-47) + but my labourers are few: Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed on him?7(48) + but: But this people who knoweth not the law are cursed.7(49) + beg the Lord to send his labourers to the harvest: Nicodemus saith unto them, (he that came to Jesus by night, being one of them,) Doth our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he doeth?7(50-51)

     Lines 11-13: Matthew 10(16)

The Secret Words of Thomas (39) were created from John 8(3-12)

Jesus said, the Pharisees and the Scribes: And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.8(3-4) + have received the keys of knowledge: Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned:8(5t) + they have hidden them: but what sayest thou? This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him.8(5b-6t) + they did not enter: But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.8(6b-8) + and they did not let those who wished: And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.8(9) + but you have become wise: When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he [the Mother] said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers?8(10t) + as serpents: hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord.8(10b-11t) + and innocent: And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I [the Father] condemn thee: go, and sin no more.8(11b) + as doves: Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.8(12)

Note: *but you have become wise: When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers?8(10t) + as serpents: hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord.8(10b-11t)

Thomas 43(23-24) Part 4 of Chapter 8: *but you have become as the Jews: Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.8(34-36)

Note: John 1(32-34): And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. And I [John] knew him [Jesus] not: but he [the LORD] that sent me [Aaron] to baptize with water, the same [Adam] said unto me [Abel], Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same [Eve] is he [Jesus] which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. And I [John the same Abel/Aaron] saw, and bare record that this [Jesus/Eve] is the Son of God.

Note: Thomas 85(29-30) Part 1 of Chapter 13: Jesus said, Adam: For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I [Mother] should say, and what I [Son] should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I [the Son] speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me [the Mother], so I [the LORD] speak.12(49-50)

Note: but you have become wise: When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he [Lord Jesus/Eve the Mother/Son] said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers?8(10t) + as serpents: hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord.8(10b-11t) + and innocent: And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I [the Father] condemn thee: go, and sin no more.8(11b) + as doves: Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.8(12)

Note: have received the keys of knowledge: Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned:8(5t) + they have hidden them: but what sayest thou? This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him.8(5b-6t)

Genesis 2(8-9): And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Genesis 2(15-17): And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the Garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Genesis 3(1-7): Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

Note: as doves: Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.8(12)

Thomas 9(5-7) Part 1 of Chapter 10: Some fell on the road: And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also? Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.9(40-41) + the birds came: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber [should read: and a liar].10(1) + they gathered them: But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.10(2-3) + others fell on the rock: And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.10(4-5)

Thomas 20(32-33) Part 5 of Chapter 3: and becomes shelter for the birds of heaven: After these things came Jesus and his disciples [his friends - the birds] into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with him, and baptized.3(22)

Psalm 11(1-7): In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain? For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart. If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD’S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men. The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup. For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.

Note: John 8(1-11): Jesus went unto the mount of Olives. And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them. And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman [the same Rahab] taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. + but you have become wise: When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he [the Mother] said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? + as serpents: hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. + and innocent: And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I [the Father] condemn thee: go, and sin no more. + as doves: Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Thomas 38(2) Part 3 of Chapter 8: Jesus said: When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?8(10) + many times: She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.8(11)

Joshua 2(1-24): And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying, Go view the land, even Jericho. And they went, and came into an harlot’s house, named Rahab, and lodged there. And it was told the king of Jericho, saying, Behold, there came men in hither to night of the children of Israel to search out the country. And the king of Jericho sent unto Rahab, saying, Bring forth the men that are come to thee, which are entered into thine house: for they be come to search out all the country. And the woman took the two men, and hid them, and said thus, There came men unto me, but I wist not whence they were: And it came to pass about the time of shutting of the gate, when it was dark, that the men went out: whither the men went I wot not: pursue after them quickly; for ye shall overtake them. But she had brought them up to the roof of the house, and hid them with the stalks of flax, which she had laid in order upon the roof. And the men pursued after them the way to Jordan unto the fords: and as soon as they which pursued after them were gone out, they shut the gate. And before they were laid down, she came up unto them upon the roof; And she said unto the men, I know that the LORD hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you. For we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that were on the other side Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom ye utterly destroyed. And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath. Now therefore, I pray you, swear unto me by the LORD, since I have shewed you kindness that ye will also shew kindness unto my father’s house, and give me a true token: And that ye will save alive my father, and my mother, and my brethren, and my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver our lives from death. And the men answered her, Our life for your’s, if ye utter not this our business. And it shall be, when the LORD hath given us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with thee. Then she let them down by a cord through the window: for her house was upon the town wall, and she dwelt upon the wall. And she said unto them, Get you to the mountain, lest the pursuers meet you; and hide yourselves there three days, until the pursuers be returned: and afterward may ye go your way. And the men said unto her, We will be blameless of this thine oath which thou hast made us swear. Behold, when we come into the land, thou shalt bind this line of scarlet thread in the window which thou didst let us down by: and thou shalt bring thy father, and thy mother, and thy brethren, and all thy father’s household, home unto thee. And it shall be, that whosoever shall go out of the doors of thy house into the street, his blood shall be upon his head, and we will be guiltless: and whosoever shall be with thee in the house, his blood shall be on our head, if any hand be upon him. And if thou utter this our business, then we will be quit of thine oath which thou hast made us to swear. And she said, According unto your words, so be it. And she sent them away, and they departed: and she bound the scarlet line in the window. And they went, and came unto the mountain, and abode there three days, until the pursuers were returned: and the pursuers sought them throughout all the way, but found them not. So the two men returned, and descended from the mountain, and passed over, and came to Joshua the son of Nun, and told him all things that befell them: And they said unto Joshua, Truly the LORD hath delivered into our hands all the land; for even all the inhabitants of the country do faint because of us.

Joshua 6(20-25): So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city. And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword. But Joshua had said unto the two men that had spied out the country, Go into the harlot’s house, and bring out thence the woman, and all that she hath, as ye sware unto her. And the young men that were spies went in, and brought out Rahab, and her father, and her mother, and her brethren, and all that she had; and they brought out all her kindred, and left them without the camp of Israel. And they burnt the city with fire, and all that was therein: only the silver, and the gold, and vessels of brass and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of the LORD. And Joshua saved Rahab the harlot alive, and her father’s household, and all that she had; and she dwelleth in Israel even unto this day; because she hid the messengers, which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.

Exodus 33(19): And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.

Scriptural Parallels and Echoes

The second thief and liar - Matthew 23(13) - The second false gospel

But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in [taken from Thomas Saying 39(7-10) Part 2 of Chapter 8].

The third thief and liar - Luke 11(52-54) - The third false gospel

Woe unto you, lawyers! For ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered [taken from Thomas Saying 39(7-10) Part 2 of Chapter 8]. And as he said these things unto them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to urge him vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many things: Laying wait for him, and seeking to catch something out of his mouth, that they might accuse him [taken from John 8(3-6t) Part 2 of Chapter 8].

The second thief and liar - Matthew 10(16) - The second false gospel

Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves [created from Thomas Saying 39(7-13) Part 2 of Chapter 8].

Note: The Sayings contained in the Gospel of Thomas have no value except for keeping the secret words which formed them in a specific order. The Synoptic Gospel writers are not only thieves but also liars because they used many of the Sayings (whole/parts) from the Gospel of Thomas as if they had value. It is the secret words which formed the Sayings that have great value but only when placed back into the Gospel of John revealing the information they were originally created from or created for.

The Secret Words of Thomas (38) were created from John 8(10-25)

Note: there will be a day [Saturday/Sabbath 15th Day]: or: there will come a day [Saturday/Sabbath 15th Day]: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.8(20b)

John 2(3-4): And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.

John 4(21-23): Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet in Jerusalem, worship the Father. Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

John 5(25-28): Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

John 7(5-6): For neither did his brethren believe in him. Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is alway ready.

John 7(30): Then they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come.

John 12(23): And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that theSon of man should be glorified.

John 13(1): Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.

John 17(1):These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:

Note: and you have: Ye judge after the flesh;8(15t)

Thomas 105(18) Part 2 of Chapter 19: the son of a harlot: The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.19(7)

John 10(30-36): I and my Father are one. Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

John 6(35-44): And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not. All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. For I [Mother] came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him [Lord Adam] that sent me [Lord Eve]. And this is the Father's will which hath sent me [Mother - the Beginning], that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of him [Lord Adam] that sent me [Lord Eve - the End], that every one which seeth the Son [Lord Eve/Jesus - born of woman], and believeth on him [Lord Adam/Jesus - not born of woman], may have everlasting life: and I [Father] will raise him [Enoch/Elijah/Lazarus] up at the last day ["Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up".2(19)]. The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven. And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven? Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves. No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Thomas 37(34-1) Part 5 of Chapter 1: then shall you know: And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. And I [John] knew him [Jesus] not: but he [the LORD] that sent me [Aaron] to baptize with water, the same [Adam] said unto me [Abel], Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same [Eve] is he [Jesus] which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.1(32-33) + the Son of the Living: And I [John the same Abel/Aaron] saw, and bare record that this [Jesus/Eve] is the Son of God.1(34)

John 6(60-64): Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it? When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you? What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.

Note: other: And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me. It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.8(16-17)

John 2(24-25): But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men, And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.

John 5(22-23): For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

Note: *from whom: I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me. Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.8(18-19)

Thomas 22(28-31) Part 4 of Chapter 5: and when you make the male and the female into a single one: And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me.5(37t) + so that the male will be male: Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.5(37b) + and the female not be female: And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom [the Mother - Lord Eve] he [the Father - Lord Adam] hath sent, him [the Son - Lord Jesus/Eve] ye believe not.5(38)

Thomas 96(2-3) Part 6 of Chapter 16: Jesus said, the kingdom of the Father is like a woman: I [Lord Eve the Mother] came forth from the Father [Lord Adam], and am come into the world: again, I [Lord Jesus/Eve the Son] leave the world, and go to the Father [Lord Adam/Jesus]. His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb.16(28-29)

Thomas 43(21) Part 4 of Chapter 8: *from what: but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.8(28b)

Thomas 85(29-30) Part 1 of Chapter 13: Jesus said, Adam: For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I [Mother] should say, and what I [Son] should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I [the Son] speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me [the Mother], so I [the LORD] speak.12(49-50)

Note: to hear them: These words spoke Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple:8(20t)

Deuteronomy 18(15-22): The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken; According to all that thou desiredst of the LORD thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not. And the LORD said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken. I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he [Lord Jesus/Eve - the Son] shall speak in my name [Lord Adam/Jesus - the Father], I will require it of him. But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken? When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

Note: there will be a day [Saturday/Sabbath 15th Day]: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.8(20b) + when you will seek me: Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come. Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come.8(21-22)

John 14(28-29): Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away [Saturday/Sabbath 15th Day (dark/night)], and come again unto you [Saturday/Sabbath 15th Day (light/day)]. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I. And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass [Saturday/Sabbath 15th Day], ye might believe.

John 20(17-23): Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her. Then the same day [Saturday/Sabbath 15th Day] at evening, being the first day [Saturday/Sabbath 15th Day (light/day) - just before evening] of the week [7 Days of unleavened bread], when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord. Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

Note: and you will: And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins:8(23-24t) + not: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.8(24b)

John 12(37-41): But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him: That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again, He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him.

Note: find me: Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning.8(25)

Genesis 2(23-24): And Adam [the Father] said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

Genesis 3(20): And Adam [the Father of all living] called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.

Genesis 4(1-2): And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD. And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

Genesis 4(9-10): And the LORD [Lord Adam the Father] said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper? And he [Lord Eve the Mother] said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.

Genesis 4(25-26): And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God [Lord Adam], said she, hath appointed me [Lord Eve] another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew. And to Seth [who called them father and mother], to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon [Adam] the name of the LORD.

Leviticus 19(1-4): And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God am holy. Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I am the LORD your God. Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the LORD your God.

Scriptural Parallels and Echoes

The second thief and liar - Matthew 13(17) - The second false gospel

For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them [created from Thomas Saying 38(2-5) Part 3 of Chapter 8].

The third thief and liar - Luke 10(24) - The third false gospel

For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them [created from Thomas Saying 38(2-5) Part 3 of Chapter 8].

Note: The Sayings contained in the Gospel of Thomas have no value except for keeping the secret words which formed them in a specific order. The Secret Words of Thomas (43) were created from John 8(25-40)

His disciples said to him, who art thou: Then said they unto him, Who art thou?8(25t) + that thou: And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning.8(25b) + should say these things: I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.8(26) + to us: They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.8(27) + <Jesus said to them:> Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself;8(28t) + from what: but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.8(28b) + I say to you: And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.

Note: His disciples said to him, who art thou: Then said they unto him, Who art thou?8(25t) + that thou: And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning.8(25b) + should say these things: I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.8(26) + to us: They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.8(27)

Exodus 33(9-23): And it came to pass, as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the LORD talked with Moses. And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door. And the LORD [Lord Adam the Father] spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle. And Moses said unto the LORD, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight. Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people. And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest. And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence. For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth. And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name [Noah/Moses]. And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory. And he [the Father] said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I [Mother] will proclaim the name of the LORD [Adam] before thee [Moses/Nicodemus]; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy. And he [Lord Eve the Mother] said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. And the LORD [the Father] said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

Deuteronomy 34(10-12): And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face. In all the signs and wonders, which the LORD sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land. And in all that mighty hand, and in all the great terror which Moses shewed in the sight of all Israel.

Thomas 61(28-31) Part 1 of Chapter 14: Jesus said: And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.14(4) + to her: Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?14(5) + I am: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:14(6t) + he who is from the same: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.14(6b) + to me was given from the things of my Father: If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also:14(7t) + She [Lord Eve/Jesus - the Son/Mother] said: and from henceforth ye know him [Lord Adam the Father], and have seen him [Lord Jesus/Adam].14(7b) + I am: Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.14(8) + thy disciple: Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip?14(9t) + Jesus: he that hath seen me [Lord Jesus/Eve - the Son] hath seen the Father;14(9c) + said to her: and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?14(9b)

Note: His disciples said to him, who art thou: Then said they unto him, Who art thou?8(25t) + that thou: And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning.8(25b) - I am: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?8(33b)

Exodus 3(13-15): And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, I AM [Lord Adam] THAT I AM [Lord Eve]: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM [The LORD] hath sent me unto you. And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

Isaiah 43(8-13): Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears. Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled [for the final passover - Saturday/Sabbath 15th Day (Jesus the Lamb of God)]: who among them can declare this [the future], and shew us former things [the past]? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth. Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant [Noah/Moses/Isaiah the same Nicodemus] whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me [Adam - the Father of all living - not born of woman] there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me [Eve - the Mother of all living - not born of woman]. I [Father], even I [Mother], am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour. I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God [the LORD God]. Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?

Note: Jesus said to them: Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself;8(28t) + from what: but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.8(28b) + I say to you: And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him. As he spake these words, many believed on him.8(29-30)

Genesis 3(16): Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception, in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

John 14(28): Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

Note: who: They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man:8(33t) + I am: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?8(33b)

Exodus 6(5-8): And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant. Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments: And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I am the LORD.

Exodus 13(3-4): And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten. This day came ye out in the month Abib.

Note: but you have become as the Jews: Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.8(34-36)

Isaiah 50(1-4): Thus saith the LORD, Where is the bill of your mother’s divorcement, whom I [the Father] have put away? or which of my creditors is it to whom I [Lord Adam] have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is your mother [Lord Eve] put away. Wherefore, when I [the Son] came, was there no man? when I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stinketh, because there is no water, and dieth for thirst. I clothe the heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering. The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.

Isaiah 66(10-14): Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her: That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory. For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I [the Father] will extend peace to her [the Mother] like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees. As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I [Lord Eve] comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem. And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.

Note: for they love the tree: I know that ye are Abraham's seed;8(37t) + they hate its fruit: but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.

Thomas 6(19-21) Part 5 of Chapter 8: what: Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.8(43) + you: Ye are of your father the devil,8(44t) + hate: and the lusts of your father ye will do.8(44t) + for all things: He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him.8(44c) + are manifest before the truth: When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.8(44b) + for there is nothing hidden: And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.8(45)

Scriptural Parallels and Echoes

The second thief and liar - Matthew 12(31-35) - The second false gospel

Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come [taken from Thomas Saying 44(26-31) Part 3 of Chapter 5]. Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit [created from Thomas Saying 43(21-26) Part 4 of Chapter 8]. O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things [taken from Thomas Saying 45(34-5) Part 6 of Chapter 8].

The third thief and liar - Luke 6(43-45) - The third false gospel

For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. For every tree is known by his own fruit [created from Thomas Saying 43(21-26) Part 4 of Chapter 8]. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes [taken from Thomas Saying 45(31-34) Part 6 of Chapter 8]. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh [taken from Thomas Saying 45(34-5) Part 6 of Chapter 8].

Jesus said, do: Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.8(39b) + not: But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.8(40) + lie: Ye do the deeds of your father.8(41t) + and do not: Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.8(41b) + do: Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.8(42) + what: Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.8(43) + you: Ye are of your father the devil,8(44t) + hate: and the lusts of your father ye will do.8(44t) + for all things: He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him.8(44c) + are manifest before the truth: When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.8(44b) + for there is nothing hidden: And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.8(45) + that shall not be: Which of you convinceth me of sin?8(46t) + revealed: And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?8(46b) + and there is nothing covered: He that is of God heareth God's words:8(47t) + that shall remain: ye therefore hear them not,8(47c) + without being uncovered: because ye are not of God.8(47b)

Note: John 8(44) Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Genesis 4(8-9): And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him [Cain the murderer]. And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not [Cain the liar]: Am I my brother's keeper?

Note: lie: Ye do the deeds of your father [Cain].8(41t) - you: Ye are of your father [Cain] the devil,8(44t) + hate: and the lusts of your father [Cain] ye will do.8(44b)

Thomas 55(25-27) Part 1 of Chapter 7: Jesus said, whoever does not hate: Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?6(70) + his father and his mother: He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon:6(71t) + will not be able to be a disciple to me: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.6(71b) + and whoever does not hate: After these things Jesus walked in Galilee; for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.7(1)

John 15(17-25): These things I command you, that ye love one another. If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me. If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin. He that hateh me hateth my Father also. If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father. But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.

Thomas 43(24-26) Part 4 of Chapter 8: for they love the tree: I know that ye are Abraham's seed;8(37t) + they hate its fruit: but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.

Isaiah 59(1-60): Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. For your hands are defiled with blood and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness. None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity. They hatch cockatrice’ eggs, and weave the spider’s web: he that eateth of their eggs dieth, and that which is crushed breaketh out into a viper. Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands. Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths. The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace. Therefore is judgment far from us, neither doth justice overtake us: we wait for light, but behold obscurity; for brightness, but we walk in darkness. We grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if we had no eyes: we stumble at noon day as in the night; we are in desolate places as dead men. We roar all like bears, and mourn sore like doves: we look for judgment, but there is none; for salvation, but it is far off from us. For our transgressions are multiplied before thee, and our sins testify against us: for our transgressions are with us; and as for our iniquities, we know them; In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood. And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment. And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him. For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke. According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence. So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him. And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD. As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.

Note: for there is nothing hidden: And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.8(45) + that shall not be: Which of you convinceth me of sin?8(46t) + revealed: And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?8(46b) + and there is nothing covered: He that is of God heareth God's words:8(47t) + that shall remain: ye therefore hear them not,8(47c) + without being uncovered: because ye are not of God.8(47b)

John 17(4-12): I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee. For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me. I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

John 17(25-26) O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee [Lord Adam], and these have known that thou hast sent me. And I have declared unto them thy name [Lord Jesus/Adam], and will declare it [Lord Jesus/Adam]: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

John 15(11-17): These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name [Lord Eve], he may give it you. These things I command you, that ye love one another.

Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known [taken from Thomas Saying 6(21-23) Part 5 of Chapter 8 or Thomas Saying 5(12-14) Part 4 of Chapter 6]. What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops [created from Thomas Saying 33(10-12) Part 9 of Chapter 4].

The third thief and liar - Luke 12(2-3) - The third false gospel

For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known [taken from Thomas Saying 6(21-23) Part 5 of Chapter 8 or Thomas Saying 5(12-14) Part 4 of Chapter 6]. Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops [created from Thomas Saying 33(10-12) Part 9 of Chapter 4].

The first thief and liar - Mark 4(21-22) - The first false gospel

And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick [taken from Thomas Saying 33(13-15) Part 9 of Chapter 4]? For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad [taken from Thomas Saying 5(12-14) Part 4 of Chapter 6 or Thomas Saying 6(21-23) Part 5 of Chapter 8].

The third thief and liar - Luke 8(16-18) - The third false gospel

No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light [taken from Thomas Saying 33(13-17) Part 9 of Chapter 4]. For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad [taken from Thomas Saying 5(12-14) Part 4 of Chapter 6 or Thomas Saying 6(21-23) Part 5 of Chapter 8]. Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have [taken from Thomas Saying 41(16-18) Part 6 of Chapter 4].

     Lines 31-5: Luke 6(44-45) = Matthew 7(16) + 12(35) + 12(34)

The Secret Words of Thomas (45) were created from John 8(46-53)

Jesus said: Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?8(46) + they do not harvest grapes from thorns: He that is of God heareth God's words:8(47t) + nor do they gather figs from thistles: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.8(47b) + for they give no fruit: Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?8(48) + a good man: Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me.8(49) + brings forth: And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth.8(50) + good out of his treasure: Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.8(51) + an evil man brings forth evil things out of his evil treasure, which is in his heart, and speaks evil things: Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.8(52) + for out of the abundance of the heart he brings forth evil things: Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself?8(53)

Note: Jesus said: Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?8(46) + they do not harvest grapes from thorns: He that is of God heareth God's words [the truth]:8(47t) + nor do they gather figs from thistles: ye therefore hear them not, because ye [the devils] are not of God.8(47b) + for they give no fruit: Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?8(48) + a good man: Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye dishonour me.8(49)

John 8(37-45): I know that ye are Abraham’s seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you. I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father. They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham. But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

Psalm 1(1-3): Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Jeremiah 17(5-8): Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited. Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

Isaiah 56(8): The Lord GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.

And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me.8(46) + they do not harvest grapes from thorns: He that is of God heareth God’s words [the truth]:8(47t) + nor do they gather figs from thistles: ye therefore hear them not, because ye [the devils] are not of God.8(47b) + for they give no fruit: Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?8(48) + a good man: Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me.8(49)

Thomas 6(18-23) Part 5 of Chapter 8: Jesus said, do: Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.8(39b) + not: But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.8(40) + lie: Ye do the deeds of your father.8(41t) + and do not: Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.8(41b) + do: Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.8(42) + what: Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.8(43) + you: Ye are of your father the devil,8(44t) + hate: and the lusts of your father ye will do.8(44t) + for all things: He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him.8(44c) + are manifest before the truth: When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.8(44b) + for there is nothing hidden: And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.8(45) + that shall not be: Which of you convinceth me of sin?8(46t) + revealed: And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?8(46b) + and there is nothing covered: He that is of God heareth God's words:8(47t) + that shall remain: ye therefore hear them not,8(47c) + without being uncovered: because ye are not of God.8(47b)

Thomas 43(23-26) Part 4 of Chapter 8: but you have become as the Jews: Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.8(39-40)

Isaiah 55(8-13): For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

Note: Jesus said: Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?8(46) + they do not harvest grapes from thorns: He that is of God heareth God's words [the truth]:8(47t) + nor do they gather figs from thistles: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.8(47b) + for they give no fruit: Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?8(48)

Genesis 3(17-21): And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it was thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living. Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

Genesis 3(6-7): And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

Numbers 33(55-56): But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell. Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them.

Judges 2(1-3): And an angel of the LORD came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the land which I sware unto your fathers; and I said, I will never break my covenant with you. And ye shall make no league with the inhabitants of this land; ye shall throw down their altars: but ye have not obeyed my voice: why have ye done this? Wherefore I also said, I will not drive them out from before you; but they shall be as thorns in your sides, and their gods shall be a snare unto you.

Ezekiel 2(1-7): And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee. And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me. And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day. For they are impudent children and stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD. And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them. And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. And thou shall speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.

Note: Jesus said: Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?8(46) + they do not harvest grapes from thorns: He that is of God heareth God's words [the truth]:8(47t) + nor do they gather figs from thistles: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.8(47b) + for they give no fruit: Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?8(48) + a good man: Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me.8(49)

Thomas 9(8-10) Part 1 of Chapter 10: and did not produce ears: The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.10(10-11) + and others fell on the thorns: But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth:10(12t) + they choked the seed: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.10(12b-13)

John 15(1-10): I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word [the truth] which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.

Note: they do not harvest grapes from thorns: He that is of God heareth God’s words [the truth]:8(47t) + nor do they gather figs from thistles: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.8(47b) + for they give no fruit: Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?8(48) + a good man: Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father [Joseph of Arimathaea in Samaria] and ye do dishonour me [Jesus of Nazareth in Galilee].8(49)

John 19(38): And after this Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Jesus [one of the chosen 12], but secretly for fear of the Jews, besought Pilate that he [the father] might take away the body of Jesus [his son]: and Pilate gave him [Joseph of Arimathaea - the father of Jesus] leave. He [the father] came therefore, and took the body of Jesus [his son].

Thomas 99(23-24) Part 10 of Chapter 19: He said to them, those here who do the will of my father: and Pilate gave him [Joseph of Arimathaea - the father of Jesus] leave.19(38c)

Note: brings forth: And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth.8(50)

John 16(7-16): Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to the Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world [Prince of Peace] is judged. I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you. A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.

John 14(25-27): These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to you remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

John 20(20-23): And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side.

Note: good out of his treasure: Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.8(51)

Thomas 46(6) Part 7 of Chapter 8: Jesus said, from Adam: Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.8(52)

John 5(24-27): Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me [Jesus said, from Adam], hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.

Note: good out of his treasure: Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.8(51) + an evil man brings forth evil things out of his evil treasure, which is in his heart, and speaks evil things: Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil.

John 5(39): Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

Exodus 6(1-5):

Then the LORD said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land. And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the LORD: And I appeared unto Abraham [1st of 3], unto Isaac [2nd of 3], and unto Jacob [3rd of 3], by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them. And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers. And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant.

[2nd of 3] Isaac - the nobleman (whose son was dying), John 4(43-54)

[3rd of 3] Jacob - the impotent man (lying on a bed), John 5(1-16)

[1st of 3] Abraham - the blind man (from birth), John 9(1-41)

Isaiah 29(22-24): Therefore thus saith the LORD, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob, Jacob shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale. But when he seeth his children, the work of mine hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify my name, and sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall fear the God of Israel. They also that erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and they that murmured shall learn doctrine.

Thomas 23(1-2) Part 5 of Chapter 5: I shall chose you, one out of a thousand: Do not think that I [Mother] will accuse you to the Father: there is one [Nicodemus] that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye [the Pharisees] trust.5(45)

Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant [Noah/Moses/Isaiah the same Nicodemus] whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me [Adam] there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me [Eve]. I [Father], even I [Mother], am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour. I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God. Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?

Thomas 19(22) Part 6 of Chapter 1: for you [Jesus] have five trees in paradise [Galilee]: Now [1] Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of [2] Andrew and [3] Peter. Philip findeth [4] Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom [5] Moses [Moses/Nicodemus] in the law, and the prophets [Gospel according to John], did write, Jesus of Nazareth [in Galilee], the son of Joseph [of Arimathaea in Samaria]. And Nanthanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.1(44-46)

Scriptural Parallels and Echoes

The second thief and liar - Matthew 12(28-35) - The second false gospel

But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you. Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house [taken from Thomas Saying 35(20-23) Part 2 of Chapter 1]. He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad. Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come [taken from Thomas Saying 44(28-31) Part 3 of Chapter 5]. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things [taken from Thomas Saying 45(34-35) Part 6 of Chapter 8].

The second thief and liar - Matthew 7(15-20) - The second false gospel

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles [taken from Thomas Saying 45(31-33) Part 6 of Chapter 8]? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them [created from Thomas Saying 43(21-26) Part 4 of Chapter 8].

The third thief and liar - Luke 6(39-45) - The third false gospel

And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch [taken from Thomas Saying 34(18-20) Part 3 of Chapter 1]? The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother’s eye [taken from Thomas Saying 26(12-17) Part 8 of Chapter 6]. For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. For every tree is known by his own fruit [created from Thomas Saying 43(21-26) Part 4 of Chapter 8]. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh [taken from Thomas Saying 45(31-5) Part 6 of Chapter 8].

(46) Jesus said: From Adam until John6 the Baptist there is among those who are born of women7 none higher than John the Baptist,8 so that his eyes will not be broken.9 But I have said that whoever among you10 becomes as a child shall know the Kingdom,11 and he shall become higher than John. The Secret Words of Thomas (46) were created from John 8(52-59end)+9(1-3)

Jesus said, from Adam: Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.8(52) + until John [Jesus] the Baptist: Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself? Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me;8(53-54t) + there is among those: of whom ye say, that he is your God:8(54b) + who are born of women: Yet ye have not known him; but I know him:8(55t) + none higher than John [Jesus] the Baptist: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.8(55b) + so that his eyes will not be broken: Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?8(56-57) + but I have said: Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.8(58) + whoever among you: Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.8(59) + becomes as a child: And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.9(1) + shall know the kingdom: And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?9(2) + and he shall become higher than John: Jesus answered, Neither hath this man [Abraham] sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him [blind man/Abraham].9(3)

Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father [Lord Adam] that honoureth me;8(53-54t) - but I have said: Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.8(58)

Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father [Lord Adam] that honoureth me;8(53-54t)

John 5(31-36): If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true. There is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the witness which he [Abel] witnesseth of me is true. Ye sent unto John, and he bare witness unto the truth. But I receive not testimony from man [John]: but these things I say, that ye might be saved. He [Aaron] was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light. But I have greater witness than that of John [Abel/Aaron/John]: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.

Thomas 22(31-34) Part 4 of Chapter 5: when you make eyes in the place of eyes and hands in the place of hands and feet in the place of feet: Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. I receive not honour from men. But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.5(39-42)

Genesis 3(20): And Adam [the Father of all living] called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.

Genesis 4(1-2t): And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD. And she again bare his brother Abel.

Genesis 4(25): And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.

Thomas 15(28-29) Part 5 of Chapter 16: who was not born of woman [the Father - Lord Adam]: These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father [Lord Adam].16(25)

Note: who are born of women [the Mother - Lord Jesus/Eve - the Son]: Yet ye have not known him; but I [Jesus/Eve - the Son] know him:8(55t) + none higher than John [Jesus] the Baptist: and if I [Mother] should say, I [Lord Eve] know him [Lord Adam] not, I [Jesus/Eve - the Son] shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.8(55b)

John 6(35-42): And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. And this is the Father's will which hath sent me [Mother], that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of him [Lord Adam] that sent me [Lord Eve], that every one which seeth the Son [Lord Eve/Jesus - born of woman], and believeth on him [Lord Adam/Jesus - not born of woman], may have everlasting life: and I [Father] will raise him [Enoch/Elijah/Lazarus] up at the last day. The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven. And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?

Thomas 15(30-31) Part 5 of Chapter 16: he is your Father: I [Lord Eve - the Mother] came forth from the Father [Lord Adam], and am come into the world: again, I [Lord Jesus/Eve - the Son] leave the world, and go to the Father [Lord Jesus/Adam]. His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb.16(28-29)

John 8(42-47): Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

John 17(25-26): O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

Note: so that his eyes will not be broken: Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?8(56-57) + but I have said: Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.8(58) - and he shall become higher than John: Jesus answered, Neither has this man [Abraham] sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him [blind man/Abraham].9(3)

John 9(1-14): And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man [Abraham], or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered, Neither hath this man [Abraham] sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him [blind man/Abraham]. I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing. The neighbours therefore, and they which before had seen him that he was blind, said, Is not this he that sat and begged? Some said, This is he: others said, He is like him: but he said, I am he. Therefore said they unto him, How were thine eyes opened? He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight. Then said they unto him, Where is he? He said, I know not. They brought to the Pharisees him that aforetime was blind. And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.

John 9(30-38): The man answered and said unto them, Why herein is a marvellous thing, that ye know not from whence he is, and yet he hath opened mine eyes. Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth. Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind. If this man were not of God, he could do nothing. They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out. Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God? He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him? And Jesus said unto him, Thou [blind man/Abraham] hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee. And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.

Note: so that his eyes will not be broken: Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?8(56-57) + but I have said: Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.8(58)

Genesis 18(23-33): And Abraham drew near and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked? Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein? That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes. And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the LORD, which am but dust and ashes: Peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city for lack of five? And he said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy it. And he spake unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do it for forty’s sake. And he said unto him, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do it, if I find thirty there. And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for twenty’s sake. And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten’s sake. And the LORD went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.

Note: and he shall become higher than John: Jesus answered, Neither hath this man [Abraham] sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him [blind man/Abraham].9(3)

Thomas 22(25-28) Part 4 of Chapter 5: and when you make the inner [Abel] as the outer [John]: There is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the witness which he [Abel] witnesseth of me is true. Ye sent unto John, and he bare witness unto the truth.5(32-33) + and the outer [John] as the inner [Abel/Aaron]: But I receive not testimony from man [John]: but these things I say, that ye might be saved. He [Aaron] was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light.5(34-35) + and the above as the below: But I have greater witness than that of John [Abel/Aaron/John]: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.5(36)

Exodus 32(21): And Moses said unto Aaron, What did this people unto thee, that thou hast brought so great a sin upon them?

Note: Nicodemus in his Gospel of John never referred to John as ‘John the Baptist’. The secret words ‘until John the Baptist’ and ‘none higher than John the Baptist’ were created by Nicodemus for Jesus. This is the reason why Nicodemus does not end this saying with the secret words ‘and he shall become higher than John the Baptist’. He ends it with the secret words ‘and he [the blind man/Abraham] shall become higher than John [the same Abel/Aaron]’. The Synoptic Gospels writers do refer to John as John the Baptist which they took from Saying 46.

The Gospel of Mark - the first false gospel

And king Herod heard of him; (for his name was spread abroad:), and he said, That John the Baptist was risen from the dead, and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him.6(14)

And she went forth, and said unto her mother, What shall I ask? And she said, The head of John the Baptist. And she came in straightway with haste unto the king, and asked, saying, I will that thou give me by and by in a charger the head of John the Baptist.6(24-25)

[1] And Jesus went out, and his disciples, into the towns of Caesarea Philippi: and by the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them, Whom do men say that I am? And they answered, *John the Baptist: but some say, *Elias; and others, *One of the prophets.8(27-28)

The Gospel of Matthew - the second false gospel

In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,3(1)

Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of woman there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.11(11-12)

At that time Herod the tetrarch heard of the fame of Jesus, And said unto his servants, This is John the Baptist; he is risen from the dead; and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him.14(1-2)

And she being instructed by her mother, said, Give me here John Baptist’s head in a charger.14(8)

[1] When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? And they said, Some say that thou art *John the Baptist: some, *Elias; and others, Jeremias, *or one of the prophets. 16(13-14)

But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew not him, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them. Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.17(12-13)

The Gospel of Luke - the third false gospel

This is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. For I say unto you, Among those that are born of woman there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.7(27-28)

For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine; and ye say, He hath a devil.7(33)

[1] And it came to pass, as he was alone praying, his disciples were with him: and he asked them, saying, Whom say the people that I am? They answering said, *John the Baptist; but some say, *Elias; and others say, *that one of the old prophets is risen again.9(18-19)

John + Thomas - the true Gospel

Thomas 19(17-18) Part 6 of Chapter 1: Jesus said, blessed is he who was before: And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. And I [John the same Abel/Aaron] saw, and bare record that this [Jesus/Eve] is the Son of God.1(32-34) [Note: John the Baptist secretly refers to Jesus the Baptist in Saying 46]

Note: John did not die until after the death and resurrection of Jesus. Lazarus who was the same Enoch/Elijah died and was raised from the dead by Jesus because he closed off the Old so that the New could begin. This was the first time he died since the Beginning. The Synoptic Gospel writers are nothing more than thieves and liars according to John + Thomas.

Note: becomes as a child: And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.9(1)

John 9(30-41): The man answered and said unto them, Why herein is a marvellous thing, that ye know not from whence he is, and yet he hath opened mine eyes. And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind. And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also? Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.

Thomas 22(20-25) Part 4 of Chapter 5: Jesus saw children who were being suckled: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.5(24) + He said to his disciples, these children who are being suckled: Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.5(25) + are like those who enter the kingdom: For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.5(26-27) + They said to him, shall we then being children enter the kingdom: Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.5(28-29) + Jesus said to them, when you make the two one: I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me. If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.5(30-31)

Note: but I have said: Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.8(58) + whoever among you: Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.8(59) + becomes as a child: And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.9(1) + shall know the kingdom: And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?9(2) + and he shall become higher than John: Jesus answered, Neither hath this man [Abraham] sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him [blind man/Abraham].9(3)

Isaiah 8(16-20): Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples. And I will wait upon the LORD, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him. Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion. And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar sprits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light [truth] in them.

Scriptural Parallels and Echoes

The second thief and liar - Matthew 11(7-11) - The second false gospel

And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind? But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings' houses [taken from Thomas Saying 78(28-1) Part 5 of Chapter 11 - concerning Jesus and Lazarus]. But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet. For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he [taken from Thomas Saying 46(6-12) Part 7 of Chapter 8 - concerning Jesus and Abraham].

The third thief and liar - Luke 7(24-28) - The third false gospel

And when the messengers of John were departed, he began to speak unto the people concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness for to see? A reed shaken with the wind? But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? Behold, they which are gorgeously apparelled, and live delicately, are in kings' courts [taken from Thomas Saying 78(28-1) Part 5 of Chapter 11 - concerning Jesus and Lazarus]. But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? Yea, I say unto you, and much more than a prophet. This is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. For I say unto you, Among those that are born of woman there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he [taken from Thomas Saying 46(6-12) Part 7 of Chapter 8 - concerning Jesus and Abraham].

Thomas (46) End - Thomas (42) Begin

END: but I have said: Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.8(58) + whoever among you: Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.8(59) + becomes as a child: And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.9(1) + shall know the kingdom: And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?9(2) + and he shall become higher than John: Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.9(3) BEGIN: Jesus said: Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.8(58-59) + become passers by: And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.9(1)

Note: John 7(53/End) & 8(1-11): These verses are bracketed in the NU-Text as not original. They are present in over 900 Manuscripts. Since I have taken all the secret words from all the Sayings contained in the Gospel of Thomas and placed them with the information contained in the Gospel of John from which the secret words were originally created, I know for a fact that John 7(53/End) & 8(1-11) are part of the original writing. The following secret words will confirm this.

PART 9 - The Secret Words of Thomas Saying (68) were created from John 7(50-53end)+8(1)

Jesus said, blessed are you: Nicodemus saith unto them, (he that came to Jesus by night, being one of them,)7(50) + when you are hated: Doth our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he doeth?7(51) + and persecuted: They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee?7(52t) + and no place will be found: Search, and look: for out of Galilee ariseth no prophet.7(52b) + there where you have been: And every man went unto his own house.7(53) + persecuted: Jesus went unto the mount of Olives.8(1)

PART 1 - The Secret Words of Thomas Saying (66) were created from John 7(52-53end)+8(1-7)

Jesus said, show him: They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee ariseth no prophet. *And every man went unto his own house.7(52-53) + the stone: *Jesus went unto the mount of Olives.

PART 2 - The Secret Words of Thomas Saying (39) were created from John 8(3-12)

She said, No man, Lord.8(10b)-11t) + and innocent: And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.8(11b) + as doves: Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.8(12)

PART 3 - The Secret Words of Thomas Saying (38) were created from John 8(10/11-25)
